Step 1: Turn the gear CLOCKWISE direction ONLY to make sure the ribbon is taut before inserting the cassette.

(Do NOT turn Anti-Clockwise as it may lead to permanent damage of the cassette)

Step 2: Once ribbon is taut, insert the ribbon into the printer and make sure the ribbon is aligned straight at the top.

Step 3: Make sure the spindle (on the printer) is inserted properly into the gear hole at the bottom of the cassette.

Press both sides of the cassette until you hear a ‘Click’ sound.

Step 4: Turn the gear in a CLOCKWISE direction ONLY to tighten the ribbon. Close the printer cover and it is ready to print.
